Gauhati High Court judge Nelson Sailo released ‘Easy Reference on Criminal Law’, the first law book written by Arunachal advocate Tadup Tana Tara

 

 

NAHARLAGUN, June 21, 2019: The  Itanagar permanent bench of Gauhati High Court judge Nelson Sailo released ‘Easy Reference on Criminal Law’, the first law book written by Arunachal advocate Tadup Tana Tara here today.

 

Speaking on the occassion, Judge Sailo said the book reflected the passion and commitment of Tara to legal profession and describing it as a very good book for simplifying criminal laws for easy understanding of junior lawyers, law students and common people. “Though I came to know Tara after joining here last year, but this book presented to me by him reflected his personality”, a delighted judge Sailo said and congratulated the writer for his achievement to the thunderous applause of gathering.

 

The gathering included MLA Tana Hali Tara, Yupia West Session Division district & session judge Jaweplu Chai, Gauhati HC joint registrar  P B Dutta,  Itanagar HC registrar Nani Grayu, state’s additional advocate general Kardak Ete, Itanagar HC Bar Association president  Muk Pertin, host of advocates including senior Ajing Pertin, Karate Association of India president Likha Tara, students leaders and NGO representatives.

 

Journalist-turned-advocate Tara, who began his legal career in 2005, said that his book reflecting basic principles of judicial procedures, sections of laws including CrPC and IPCs in six parts will be handy for academic and non-academic purposes.

 

“The book itself will enlighten about criminal laws to even ignorant commoners, he said, adding it has been written after years of reference from various research papers, law journals, including his notes of law college days, lectures delivered in various seminars in law colleges and social events, and from his over a decade long experience as a lawyer, but has been dedicated to her late mother Nyari Kupu Tana. Published by Himalayan Publisher, 4,700 copies of total 5,000 printed were sol like hot cakes, Tara’s associate said.
