Uttarakhand High Court suspends Neeraj Kumar, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Uttarkashi on allegations of beating, abusing family and damaging official vehicles

New Delhi, November 06, 2020: The Uttarakhand High Court, by Order of Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice, has issued an Office Memorandum informing that Neeraj Kumar, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Uttarkashi, against whom, a disciplinary proceeding is contemplated, has been put under suspension with immediate effect. The Memorandum states that the employees of Collectorate / residents of Collectorate Colony at Uttarkashi, where Neeraj Kumar resides with his family, vide their memorandum dated 30.10.2020 have informed that Sri Neeraj Kumar used to beat his family & others and also used to abuse with people residing nearby while intoxicating. ...- Read More.

Haridwar Senior Civil Judge Deepali Sharma dismissed from service for torturing a minor girl worked as domestic help

New Delhi/Dehradun, October 27, 2020: The Senior Civil Judge in Uttarakhand Deepali Sharma has been dismissed from service for allegedly torturing a minor girl who worked as a domestic help at her residence, official sources said on Wednesday. Deepali Sharma's dismissal is in keeping with a resolution passed by a full bench of the Uttarakhand high court and the recommendation of the state government.
